STORE MANAGERS Beacon Co-operative General Store and Post Office The Beacon Co-operative is proudly owned by the community and provides groceries, fresh provisions, post office, newsagency, video hire and other services. Beacon is a small but busy farming community located in the Wheatbelt, 300km north-east of Perth. Our town motto “Living on the edge” exemplifies our spirit. We are passionate about our lifestyle and location and we would love to have you as part of our community. We are seeking a highly self-motivated couple with relevant experience and a passion for country-life. The role will suit an energetic, innovative couple in good health. You will be responsible for the profitable operation of the general store and post office. Your main duties will include ordering, receiving and displaying stock, running the local post office in accordance with Australia Post guidelines, motivating and supporting the team of casual staff, loss prevention and customer service. In return, the position offers flexible hours including weekend work, accommodation and above award remuneration. Local Post Office experience and forklift ticket are desirable but not essential.
