Non IT related but: be like Charlie I’d like to offer everyone an opportunity to help me raise funds in Dad’s memory. One day in the hospital, I was sent from Dad’s room so the nurses could tend to him and as I sat in the corridor the phrase “be like Charlie” came to me. I promised myself and my Dad that I’d do something to help others in our situation. For those who knew Charlie – you knew he was genuine. He didn’t judge, complain or envy. He didn’t resent, discriminate nor reject. He loved everyone he met. He was loyal, hardworking and generous. Always smiling, helpful and happy to see you. There is no one like Charlie and I wish I could be more like him. As we will never forget him – we can always remember to “be like Charlie” I am offering “be like Charlie” stickers to all who wish to purchase one or more for their vehicle, fridge or esky and remember Charlie. All proceeds are going to the Cancer Council of WA. It has been registered and they are so appreciative of our efforts. Cost $5 each (inc postage) - Please PM me with order details 500 stickers are being offered and I’m sure Dad would have got a real kick from these being seen all over Australia.
